I was just watching GTown get semi-owned by Ohio State I am now pretty impressed with Roy Hibbert and Jeff Green and though they seemed sorta off at times, they were definitly noteworthy. I liked Hibbert's length and strength and his soft touch (almost out to the three!) and i was really impressed by Green's versatility and passing abilities, even though i was dissapointed at the fact that he tended to give up the ball during the clutch even though it was evident that he was the one who needed to score and make plays. Regardless, i think Green will become an excellent player and Hibbert should be solid in the Nba... Do you think Houston will benefit from drafting such players?
Forget about Hibbert on the Rockets. He will go very high and is a 5. Roy looked good whether Oden was in there or not. It appears these two will be going at it for the next 10 -15 years.
Hibbert is of no use at all to the Rockets. A bit raw, so why do we need a 5 prospect when we have the deepest and best 5 rotation in the league? Green is...intresting. Versatile. Could play the 4, one of those tweener, Boris Diaw types. Still, that's not really addressing what we need right now. Besides, both are going much too high for the Rockets to pick and both would not warrent a trade-up. If anything, we should probably trade up for Acie Law. I doubt we could swing a deal of that magnitude, but Acie Law is the kind of player we should be aiming for at this stage.
