MoonBus I think that is a pretty good read on the situation. I didn't see your post until after I sent mine. I still think Cato to Miami for players that will free up Cap Space. Then Dream to Vancouver in a seperate deal that gets us a player plus picks. One person I haven't heard mentioned that I just thought about is Othella. He is not happy in Vancouver and he could definitely be a starter and would bring some size.

So let me get this straight:

Most here think the Rockets are going to trade Dream [IMG] , Cato [IMG] [IMG] [IMG], and a 1st rounder for Reef [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] and Reeves [IMG].

    "OH HAPPY DAY...OH HAPPY DAY...."

Hell, even if they're only able to move Cato,

    "OH HAPPY DAY...OH HAPPY DAY..."

Just want to say I spoke to Doc Rocket last night and if this deal goes down, all Rocket fans will be partying, I guarantee it.

This leads me to believe that my first inclination about SAR might have been right.

hmmm...If this involves both Hakeem and Cato, and two other teams, then chances are there are multitudes of players who will be moved around - at least 8 total. Hmmm..complicated...any more hints?

I think that means that Dream is not involved with this trade. Since it seems most people are divided between keeping him or not. I think everyone agrees that Walt must go. And hopefully Cato. But who would take such garbage? Hope someone has it figured out by 5 o'clock.

I have to agree with that. I know that if Dream was traded, I would not be partying unless it brought us BRAIN Grant, or Shaq. I know there are plenty of people who would like to see Hakeem retire as a Rocket. It must not involve the Dream. I think it has to be Cato and maybe the Wizard. It is hard to tell. Wait! Could it be Mobley??? I would be partying so hard...

I don't think deal would go down. Minnesota lost there #1 pick for 5 years. But I wouldn't be opposed to some package that sent KG here for draft picks or Cato and Walt.

I meant it as some sort of combination with Cato, Walt and draft picks. Everyone knows Minnesota needs picks and it was said a while back on ESPN that having KG's salary is going to prevent them from getting any top talent FA's and without draft picks they are virtually dead.

Clutch, is there a good reason why the deal wouldn't go down?

Minny could draft for ten years and still never come up with another talent on par with KG so I just don't see them trading him for a number one and two above average scrubs ie. Walter and Kelvin.
My guees try again on that one.

Actually I don't think that is it either. I was just playing Devil's Advocate with someone else's post. I still think it is closer to my original thought posted on page 2.

God, gr8-1's sarcasm flew over your heads. Wake up.

Put down the Minnesota dreamcaster and step back. We're not getting KG.
