Sura's good. Barrett is too. I'm proud of them.

 

AD isn't going anywhere, but Murray (probably) is...should he be got?

 

Isn't 'Flip' just another combo-guard lacking size? I think we need a true PG on this team, whether Sura is playing or not. IMO.

 

Ronald Murray is like Mobley..he needs the ball to shoot. We just need a guy who will play defense and basically do what Sura and Barry and Wesley are doing right now. Murray can probably play good defense but how are we gonna get him...

Antoher guy might be Larry Hughes..his 3 point shooting isn't good and he probably wants a lot of money so i guess not him.

So what's wrong with Sura?

 

The Sonics have a lot of free agents to sign back. I think we have a solid shot at getting Daniels away from Seattle. We can probably offer as much as Seattle's willing to spend to retain him plus a starting job. If the Rockets don't take a significant step back, we can also make a case for being a legitimate contender the next few years as well.

I don't think Murray fits what we need. He's a scorer, pure and simple.

I hope Sura makes it. I also hope we get someone else like Daniels to take his job as well and move him to the bench.

 

I think something needs to be done with this situation before it becomes just that, a situation. Sura's trying to last until the end of the season, but I can't really see him doing that. We need something solid there to go to, even he makes it to the end of the season, the playoffs are even more grind-it-out style

 

No one has mentioned Rafer Alston. They signed him to that contract and soon had to go into rebuilding mode. I'm wondering of they would part with him for the TE. Hell, I would give them Taylor + Barret + 1st for Alston + Marshall and then give them the TE +2nd for Aaron Williams. I mean, could you imagine...
