Funny how this is all Rafer-Brooks all over again. Once Lowry will start, people will praise Brooks again. Really funny.
If we need a bucket desperately with alot of time left. Lowry over Brooks anyday. But with limited time and we need a luck three pointer or clutch 3s then I would give book that chance. Over all Lowry > Brooks only because Lowry fits out 1st option better and better on D with size. Although Brooks is still solid though, he got the speed and range. With his speed he can give the oppsoing PG a run for their life. So this **** is very situational. P.S. I do like the idea Lowry start over Brooks.
Kyle is obviously good enough to warrant more late fourth quarter minutes over Aaron. But they're each fine where they are and provide a solid dynamic from the other. The starting lineup needs a PG that can penetrate, score and shoot, and Lowry is key as a point that can defend the hell outta other PGs, attack the rim, and set up the more athletic and energetic second team.
I personally appreciate these types of threads. It gives me the opportunity to refine my ignore list.
if you need someone to make scoring plays, then go with aaron, if you need a pg play.......go with lowry, the dude would foul out half the blazer team if he got to start.
Bench Brooks while using Lowry in the 4th quarter is the best strategy that RA did in this second half. Lowry is tough and hastle. The offense rebound by him is $$$$$.
