Duh. I'm SwoLy-D and my parents don't have a Clutchfans' nickname... seriously, though, no differences of the ones you speak. You should divorce his *ss, a'la McAuley Caulkokokin...
I'm adopted, so while you wouldn't expect me to be much like mybparents, there are more similarities than differences. I'm a little more of a risk-taker than either of my parents. I'm somewhat less religious (I'm still a Jesus Freak, but my parents moreso.) I work more at work, but less at home/volunteer than they do. I'm more technically-minded than either of them. And the part where I wish we were more similar, my Dad, at 58, is in incredible shape with very little work at it.
so.. being a a persistent annoyance to one's contemporaries and peers.. is hereditary.. in your family...? my sympathies to your children's future aquaintances...
Me and my mom are pretty similar. Intelligence between me and my dad differed in that he seemed like he got everything naturally while I struggled alot with concepts before getting them. I get my computer brilliance from him though
I feel like the purpose of this thread has misfired. Instead of "share how your past circumstances have affected you" it became the less interesting "this is a fact about my past". For instance, its not enough for me to have been drunk. Its only interesting in the context of my family history. I'm very close to my dad but I've never seen him drunk. My grandfather was the only survivor in his WW2 unit and played dead in Italy after one of his friends (a preachers son) prayed for a couple days before finally dying. Yeah everyone was shot. He was the first atheist I ever knew. There are atheists in fox holes. They just dont realize it until later. Hope makes people sure of things by necessity.
