    Man, this is really sad.

I have always looked up to Yao and he has been my role model. Now Rocket's Playoff chances is significantly diminished. He's just such a great human being and it's a bummer he won't be able to return this season.

Oh well, hope he has a good rest and return healthy and ready to play for the 2008/09 season.

most disappointed and suffered the most person is yao ming. he is such a dedicated role model. he deserves to be healthy, and he deserves a championship.
now i just hope he can go through it strong, and come back next season healthy.

Rockets can't feel sorry for themselves. The minute they do... they start losing confidence...

    "Self Pity"

I never saw a wild thing
    sorry for itself.
A small bird will drop frozen dead from a bough
without ever having felt sorry for itself.

Real life makes it easy to cope with when you realize sports is just entertainment. Could always be worse.. like the New England Patriots.

Err, everyone looks up to Yao unless you're taller than 7 foot 6. We're all disappointed of the news, I mean I was expected to see Brent Barry joining the Rockets headlining the front page of clutchfans instead we got Yao season ending injury. Yeah I was devastated but life goes on, and in my humble opinion it is more of a blessing than a curse, we all know this team is not ready yet to take it all the way. So rest up big fella and come back next season with a purpose to win it all! Stop with the pouting you should be lucky we're not Miami Heat!

At least now I know Yao is liked by so many fans around the country after checking out different teams boards. So many of them say nice things about Yao and wish him well, while saying not so nice things about Tmac.

I am demorialized. I was cautiously optimistic about how well we have been playing, and while not yet convinced we could definitely beat the top teams come playoff time, was starting to believe we stood a chance. Now I know we can only be spoilers at best and that sucks. And just when we were starting to put fear in the rest of the west and get some respect. Man this hurts.
