Heh heh, Warriors are dead meat! The dropoff of Wiggins, Klay, Draymond and Looney all hitting at the same time is almost sad to watch. The only wheel that hasn't fallen off is Steph, who is still great and amazing. After watching a clip of Kerr's postgame presser after losing at OKC tonight, he knows they are done. The veterans still have their chemistry and the magic briefly reappears sometimes, but the cart is just too heavy for Steph to pull by himself so often. Draymond was very lucky they paid him this year. Klay is so diminished on both ends, he's a goner after the season.
Well, GS isnt so good these days. In fact, they only managed to beat one really good team in all of December. So, if your a GS fan are you worried? Currently #11 in the west and out of the playoffs entirely. Personally, I am glad they are struggling. Those guys have had their day and its time for someone else.
My mind is still totally boggled that the NBA turned a blind eye to Draymond for 7 years while he was winning rings, and then take him out once the window is closed. Total proof of some kind of Adam Silver agenda there. Now that the Warriors are established as a dynasty the NBA doesn't need his **** anymore.
Tarnished Silver. Not so Golden State fans need to watch the Rockets for truly wild, crazy and entertaining basketball.
I don't know why but I've started seeing Warrior fan pages on social media when I start scrolling. They're the new thing in my algorithm for some reason. I find it absolutely hilarious the audacity their fans have on each new post - thousands upon thousands of comments stating how the NBA officiating hates them and they never get calls. It is so bizarre.
Based on YouTube they aren't worried. They even crowing and saying stuff like the league should never have let GSW get Brandin P or GSW committed daylight robbery by getting Brandin P lol.
It was bound to happen obviously after all these years, but we are now witnessing the true downfall of the curry/thompson/DG era. GSW are no longer a legitimate threat and nobody on that team is on the same page. Changes are coming and it still won't matter. Time for them to try and start something else whatever that is
The anticlimactic thing is how it's so easy to forget how they actually won it all just 1.25 season ago. At that time, all the pundits thought the W dynasty will continue for years to come - until the punch. Their downfall isn't really due to "aging" either, unlike other dynasties. Both Klay and Dray are still only 33-34. Plenty other greats still play at high level around 33-35, like how Curry is actually still All-NBA today. It's clear their decline has to do with chemistry, bad vibes - the self-inflicted issues that they couldn't fix even after the Poole trade. For instance, Wiggins and Looney should be in their absolute prime age-wise, but they both turned into big turd this year - it seems they don't care anymore. Wiggins in particular even took a long absence last year, and again this year, playing like he's not there. If not for the punch, the Dubs were on pace to get all-star level performances from at least Wiggins and Poole following their trajectory from 2022.
The year they won everyone was decimated by injury. All of the best teams either lost all their guys before/during the season or in the playoffs. They were not a real championship level team. Of course luck plays a part, and history doesn’t care how lucky you are (see 21 bucks).
Yeah, and when they were the actual consensus best teams (2016, 2019), they let "lucky" cavs and raptors take the trophy. C'est la vie.
Agreed. And still can help a team win a title and be a starter. Imagine him next to Lebron and AD right now.
Wow, their 46-yr-old assistant coach had a seizure during a team dinner last night, and now Bay Area radio is reporting that the dude has died. Worriers cancelling their game with the Jazz tonight. RIP. That's way too young. EDIT: calling it a massive heart attack now. Poor guy. https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-new...ch-salt-lake-city-hospital-medical-rcna134351
