Would've been funnier if GSW actually won 4 in 2023 or 8 all season, neither of which is true.

In general both sides of that exchange are cringe. Memphis is cringe because their superstar is cringe and warriors are cringe because of what @RocketsDraftTV said ("party's over")

Wiseman is going to turnout to be a hugely significant get for the Pistons. 22 points 13 rebounds with some good interior defense tonight against Bam

Bob Meyers could leave Warriors this week

Golden State Warriors president of basketball operations Bob Myers is notably working without a contract that extends past this season. Myers and the Warriors have been unable to agree to terms to extend his deal over the past several months.

The sense some are getting is that Myers is poised to leave Golden State later this week. Myers reportedly wouldn't be leaving over money or relationships. The Warriors (players and non-players) all want Myers back, and they are willing to pay handsomely to retain him.

Myers is reportedly looking to take a break from the NBA. He's run the Warriors front office for the last nine seasons and could be looking to step back from the NBA for a while. Should that happen, Golden State is expected to promote Mike Dunleavy Jr. to run the team's basketball operations.

lol social justice the NBA needs to ditch that stupid award. The person that deserves that is probably somebody we haven't heard about rather than some douchebag that won't allow a homeless shelter in his city

Lots of speculation on Bay Area radio today and dissecting Myers' (weird) presser with Lacob.

Many options: burnout; sick of Lacob's intensity and micro-managing (probably); recognizes the closing of the window with huge luxury tax implications; saw the failure of the "two timelines" approach; literally wants to spend more time with his family.

I have no clue, but I think Myers made his decision when the vid of the punch got leaked. It was like, "f this -- I'm on my very last year of this."

For those minimizing his impact and pointing out his draft mistakes, and who he did not draft -- that's all fair -- but in the org, he is a super popular problem solver from like the low-level staffers to their various big egos on the team. Hard to overrate that kind of positive management and leadership in house. But we'll see how it goes.

Odds on favorite is Dunleavy Jr. to take over.
