Warrior owners would hope they play well. They're paying through the nose on the tax bill.

2021 NBA Luxury Tax Threshold: $136 millions
    Total Taxable Salary: $175.9 millions
Current Luxury Tax space: -$39 mil
    --
Estimated Luxury Tax Bill: $170,330,456 for this 2021-2022 season.

That's just the players. Kerr's salary alone is ~8 mil, he makes more than ~70% of our actual players.

    Wall - 44m
    Gordon - 18m
    Wood - 13.7m
    Green - 8.9m
    Theis - 8.3m

---- ..., everybody else makes less than GSW's coach.
    DJ,
    Nawaba,
    House,
    Sengun,
    Garuba,
    JGup,
    KPJ,
Tate, 1.5m  Tate is criminally underpaid for his current production.
    KMJ,
    Brooks

    They have high IQ players.

Their ball movement is the best I have ever seen in the NBA.

They have a flamethrower who you are shocked when he misses any kind of three point shot.

and they become good only when the rookie coach started their best player who was rotting on the bench....
they didnt wait half a century for the rookie coach to deliver and inserting a great player with the starter position did made a tremendous difference

Steven Curry is one of the best to ever do it. Regardless of what the remaining Harden Stans on this site would have you believe.

I don't care for Tillman. But I'm not putting the post rebuild culture on him. He didn't decide to build around KPJ, (a mental midget). He (probably) didn't make the final call on Green over Mobley, Wood was a Stone move, Wall was a Stone move. Ferntits wanted JVG not Silas. Honestly, Stone has been ass.

    12 games

    9 home
    3 road

    SOS : 30th

Looking good, but the schedule has helped. Possibly quite a bit.

There is the story. Nothing against what they have done thus far, afterall they are not losing the easy games which is great, but let's talk midseason to get a real perspective.

Its because they have a front office that is heavily involved with analytics

guys like beiljcia, otto porter, draymond, iggy, looney, and now gary payton the 2nd ...grade out excellent according to analytics... otto porter is basically robert covington making the vet min, belijica is ryan anderson( without making 17 million per season)... gary payton the 2nd is basically pat bev with more athleticism.. and then they are adding that too 2 lottery picks this year plus wiseman and jordan poole. Also forgot to mention an underrated 2 way player in andrew wiggins

that superstar was nowhere to be found in the playoffs the last 2 seasons

also lets wait and see how the season plays out before we crown them... they have basically played 95% of their schedule at home.. lets see how they do on the road

Lol. I chuckled at Marquese but he was a spot holder, without being on the Warriors he would have been overseas.

He was injured one year. Last year, he was outstanding in the playoffs, averaging 38 pts in the 2 games and having a positive +/- despite the team losing both games.

You do know that this math is super easy, right? 9/12 = 75%. Your need to exaggerate when data is readily available is ... weird. And says a lot about the strength of your claims in general.

Maybe Steve Kerr isn't as overrated as some people thought.

We agree on a lot of things but c'mon @Easy . Walton had a 39-4 record as their head coach when Kerr was out. Curry has been supernova but this whole team goes as Draymond Green goes. He looks rejuvenated this year.
