Does everyone remember when the NBA stat guys did not give Hakeem credit for his first quadruple-double? They shorted him an assist, the Rockets went back and petitioned, but the league wouldn't do anything. He would have ended his career with 2 quadruple doubles which I think is the most all time. That still pisses me off!
If they were any accurate, Dream would have had like maybe 6 or 7 QUADRUPLE-DOUBLEs in his career. I know they stole a few blocks and assists and steals (no pun intended) from him in a few games before his apogee. Here's the "corrected" box score..
On the fifth clip, Rafer was 3 feet behind the line and the ref, to his right, is standing there with his hand raised. If you're talking about the fourth highlight, the video is pretty clear that it doesn't count it as a three.
I predict in game one of the NBA finals Rafer hits seven three pointers and we go on to sweep and win the title. Later Rafer lands a TV gig and Tinman does a "Rockets SuperHero" thread for Rafer.
They also stole a 3 from Luther when he played in the Rookie-Sophomore game, not that it matters, but to prove that they do make mistakes.
Anyone who's been watching Yao over the years and looking at the box scores knows that they have been robbing him of about .5 blocks per game.
