Congratulations on making the dumbest trade idea thread in a long long time.

The idea of maybe getting Miller in here is not a bad one, but you do not give up an about-to-be star PG for a guy like that. No no no.

You could make a strong case that AB is one of the most valuable pieces on this team right now, and he is only going to get better.

I would give up Head, SF3, and *maybe* Hayes. But does Miller really back up Yao better than Hayes, or better yet, Mutombo?

Yeah it's nice to have a big guy who can hit the outside shot with regularity, especially in RA's offense. But the gains would not outweigh the losses, no matter how you slice it.

And don't forget, we are probably going to have Maarty next year too.. ;) He can take SF3's roster spot.. :D

Too much to give for a above average center. I think we would first mess with our chemistry.

Then...lose a scorer point guard in Brooks.

Then...lose best low post defender on the team in Chuck Hayes.

Then...lose a solid 3pt shooter in Luther Head for Brad Miller.

Maybe it isn't a bad idea but it should have been posted back 2 months ago.

I know AB is our potential star. I don't want to see him leave, either.
BUT, if we want Brad Miller, we do not have any valuable players to offer to KINGS. Battier? Landry? Scola? No...

If Morey could get Miller as Lakers get Gasol, that will be perfect!

Brad makes 11 plus mill this year and 12 plus mill next year. Your trade scenario won't even work salary match wise.

Hate to say it but you are making this thread even worse...

First, the salary won't match not unless you are willing to give the Kings a package deal..

Second, Miller is turning 33, his performance will probably decline in a year or two, and you want to trade them our players that have great upside.

Third, you are giving up too much potential and really good role players that are vital part of the Rockets success

Fouth, you are giving up AB, the only pg we have besides Alston...

I can go on and on... Might as well trade Yao Ming too for Mikki Moore? We need to upgrade, not to downgrade...

I don't think Miller is a good fit for this team. We have enough softness in the middle, and we certainly don't need a jump-shooting big man.

Granted, he's a good shooter, but we need a long 5 who can crash the boards and protect the rim. Deke brings those things for much cheaper. Even though his minutes would be limited, he still brings those things.

Brooks should not be moved. He is the future of this team.

Who said we gave up on Mutombo?

I'm pretty sure they're going to wait til mid season to sign him so he has fresh legs.

And for what? Why would we need Brad Miller just to sit on the bench? AB is our future now more than ever I don't think the Rockets would trade him. He's just that good.

    1. We do not even need Miller. Yao's backup should be ....... Dorsey. Yeah, I prefer Dorsey over Miller.

    2. never trade your best, most needed bench player to get another bench player.

    3. you don't put your $10M man on the bench to play 10-15 minutes a game.

LOL this trade idea is so horrible.

Giving up our best post defender and our greatest offensive spark whose still budding as a player for a washed up center that does nothing but camp outside at the 18 foot area? Yeah freaking right.

In 22 mpg, Brooks is shooting...

    46% from the field
42% from behind the arc and
    90% from the line.

    Those are Nash-like numbers.

Miller is expensive, injury-prone, overpaid and at the tail end of his career. The Kings would probably love to dump his contract.

Most rediculous trading suggestion ever. You are the man!
I guess Kings will pull the trigger within a second. They are probably desperate to get rid of the huge salary, then you give them two legitamate players, AB and CH who can be on anyone's active roster.

I thought about merging this one into the Random Trade thread at the top of this forum, but since this one is so unrealistic it doesn't meet the first criteria outlined for the Random thread.

so I'm just gonna close this one.

the Random Trade thread is there for a reason, use it in the future.
