Got my power back on. I called center point and told them how I voted for Trump and how these libtards want stuff for free and within minutes my lights were on. These Martin Lawrence skits teach you how to survive in the hood

In northeast texas, when it snowed a good 5-6 inches a few weeks back, people were out of power for 4 days. It also wasn't this cold though. You just can't account for some of the weight put on tree limbs from the snow and then them breaking and knocking out power lines. I just hope everybody can stay safe and get through this.

**** Greg Abbott. Unprepared for COVID. Unprepared for this. I hope the actual intelligent people in this state vote that piece of **** out.

Lol. I shouldn't complain, and I'm not, but... my power goes out every 35 minutes. I have a friend who lives 5 miles away whose power goes off when mine comes on. It's currently 2 degrees and supposed to get down to 0. Part of me is disappointed it may not go negative but that's probably because the rolling blackouts have made me nuts and the sound of dripping water is like Chinese water torture. No internet and spotty cell service don't help, either.

Hopefully things will improve for the rest of you guys soon.

Over/under 500. Times you tried to turn on the lights while your power was out

Can’t sleep. Too quiet and the fan that blows in my face all night has no power.

    Thanks, Obama!

    Also, Benghazi!

5 am to 1 am without power, finally got it back. i sprung up and had 2 dead phones charging in under 60 seconds (was keeping them warm in my jacket). my thermostat said it was 55 but it's away from the windows. i think my couch was between 40-45°F by the time the power came back on. please don't go out again. keep giving DoD more rolling blackouts, 20 hours was enough for me.

just took a 5 minute walk outside to experience 14 degrees (i was around for 9 degrees back in the day). maybe the quietest i've ever heard it. i live a stone's throw away from 610 and the usual hum was gone. no wind, just stillness. pretty nice. would've walked around more if not for the ice and not wanting to fall. actually didn't feel much colder than my apartment before the power came back on.

My power just went out. I thought I had enough time before hurricane season to get a standby generator and now this **** happens.

My neighborhood is still out of power, 28 hours now.

My generator is still going strong but damn this is awful for my neighbors.

26 hours without power now. My generator is keeping a space heater and fridge going.
