Trade tmac cook n taylor(or one of our role players) For Iggy and dalembert Then sign bosh and convince him 2 play for his state Pg-brooks Sg-iggy Sf-ariza or bosh Pf-bosh or dalembert C-yao
Pretty close. Ariza/Battier moved probably. These are the 4 guys Bosh,Iggy,Butler,Bayless try to crack it and i know it can't be done by the deadline, more before next season. Dalembert was a guy the Kings were interested in so that is Martin. Is Andersen? Bayless?? No really i don't know, but the moves are so impactful, using simple logic actually.
there needs to be a memo posted thread sticky at the top of the forum saying this : title:All dreamcasting posts HERE subject: Philadelphia will not trade Iggy without including Dalembert which the Rockets refuse to take. The Rockets will not add additional salary for this year let alone future years. Bosh is no longer on the block and Amare doesn't want to play here. Rockets will not include Brooks or Landry unless its for a bonefide all-star. Lowry is injured, and teams see Ariza for what he is. Enjoy Jermaine Taylor because he is our future sg. ...this should end all unrealistic scenarios.
This. Also, incorporating the post above yours, we do need a backup center who would be competent enough to start for us. Dalembert is overpaid, but he does everything we lack at the moment at the defensive end, rebound and block shots with authority. Without an interior presence, we are chopped liver against the Lakers, Boston, Atlanta, etc...
Exactly. This will kill most trade scenarios but proper management now could help us have a better team down the line when the cap will be substantially lowered (or even a hard cap after CBA negotiations down the line)
I don't think the whole time i been on clutch fans not long seen somany discussions ever about improving the team. People do come up with some very good ideas though. i try to stay within the means of articles and what makes sence. Sometimes what is said is really meant to happen later. Some times it requires collecting the pieces to makes the deals go down after the season. Nobody knows. There is many startegies GM's use to improve their team and some times the thinking is out side the box. 3rd teams moving trash just, because they felt a need to remove salary. You'll see teams take on salary with picks if neccessay. This is one strategy hardly ever used. It's like saying "hey" dont leave trash at my door step without tipping me. If your a team who can take back salary, that's something you can look for to take on picks, etc...
Another thing don't be fooled about teams who won take on salary now as long as their is picks involved, they'll likely bite. Rockets can go that rout you know. Move their contracts with the 13th pick. Teams like Cleveland, Dallas, Denver have always been known to take on salary if needed. If you needed to remove Battier or Ariza believe me teams will take that 13th pick with em.
