While it is never easy to make the playoffs in the west, I think sac is not going to be that stable of a team with out adleman as there coach and we dont even know if there keeping bonzi at this point, and who knows if ron ron goes crazy. I think loosing shane and bobby jax hurt memphis so they may not even be a sure bet to get in. I think our only real competion for the 8 spot is NO and Utah. Im confident that we can beat those teams enough times to get a tie breaker if it gets that close in the standings.
I didn't hear that, who the hell is Zeke going to get rid of, he hasn't made any trades and he must have 20 guys on that roster now with his 2 draft picks. Deshawn Stevenson may be in our future, unlike what people have said about him he can defend, Brian Hill praised him for his defense. He has no 3 point range but man can he finish.
We're not going to be fighting for the 8th spot with a healthy T-Mac/Yao combo. We'll be fighting for 4th or 5th seed.
I would love to sign Rasual Butler. He would be a perfect backup for T-Mac/Battier. He adds size and can do a little bit of everything, including hit the 3 point shot (38% last year). He would also come cheap, maybe 3 million would be enough to get this guy, but I would be willing spend the entire MLE on him.
