Yeah, you did it.... my comprehension center has been melted.... You will here from my attorney, who unfortunately is traveling the world right now but you can make comments at his website: http://sirjackiechiles.blogspot.com/
refuting this one is like shooting fish in a barrel with a bazooka.. aint no way in hell Orl trades TM for SF... and I certainly hope that Rox would not do it either..I think this team is just now starting to come together..no need to introduce a shaky, possibly ball hoggish, definitely ego driven star to a group of guys that are learning how to work as a team.
The only hension I care about is that Drewhension leave the Yanks and bring a 1st to the Texans. Drew's on 3rd? What's on 1st...
What are you trying to convey here? I'll see if I can figure it out. Whoa, this trade is alarming! Wait, I'm confused. Oh, now I understand and it makes me sad. Oh this is just stupid. Just kidding!
I have had a wicked headache/hangover going on all day long, compounded by the fact that I lost my cell phone for like the 3rd time this year last night. But reading this exchange just broke my mind.
Call me a homer, but HELL NO!! I think that Steve is finally starting to "get it". If the Rox keep winning and Steve keeps playing the way that he has been playing, you are looking at a MVP candidate right there.
I would do everything but trade Yao to get Lebron. But no way in hell Cleveland would even listen to me.
wow... this is a trade that may or may not work, but if it ever become a possibility (fat chance) it's a trade you just have to make. i mean Tmac is one of the top five players in the league.
I am sorry but this is the most rediculous trade idea ever. It ranks up there with trading The Cat and trying to get Kobe here. T- Mac, dont get me wrong is one of the best players in the league but if the Rockets even consider about making a trade like that all faith will be lost. That means they would have to start all over again where they began. Steve and Cuttino are a killer combonation. Its hard to find a team with two young players like this. I dont see no need for a trade at all unless its someone like Eddie. If you havant seen of the rockets games this year then let me inform you that the rockets are looking better then they have in a long time and thats all because of Francis and Mobley. Why even risk loosing your two top scorer for T- Mac. I just dont think that will ever happen the rockets organization has taken some risks in the past on making some strange trading but if they do something like this it will top them all. If T- Mac goes anywhere, i see him like New York but I am not worrying about these crazy trade talks. The Rockets are at the top there is no need at all to go off and trade anyone. On a different subject. WTF happen to the Astros, tell me why the hell they let go of there best pitcher just like that . That has to tick me off more then anything else out there. The astros organization has really let there fans down by making a move like that. Even bagwell hates that this has happend.
I now remember why i stopped reading these boards...Why don't you just trade the 2 teams, change their uniforms, fire their PA announcers, hire the 3 stooges, and get the new teams to play in the WNBA
I'd even trade Francis AND Mobley for T-Mac and Lue. I'd also trade Francis and Mobley for Kobe and Fisher. When will you guys come to the realization that Kobe and T-Mac are younger, stronger, faster, bigger, smarter, more skilled, more athletically gifted, and better defensive players than Francis and Mobley? Give me Kobe and T-Mac, you can have anything but Yao Ming. You know what happens if Kobe joins Yao Ming? Kobe goes on to become the new and better Micheal Jordan. A dominant big man who is a great passer and is regarded as too unselfish? I love our Rockets, but for 4 players, I'd trade a package of Mobleyand Francis right now: Kobe, T-Mac, Garnett, and Duncan. I would even trade Francis ALONE for Rasheed Wallace, Jermaine O'Neal, Jason Kidd, Stephon Marbury. We're trying to win a championship here, be sensible. Steve is an All Star, by a whisker. He's 22/6/6 >> don't forget 4 TO's per game though. That's damn good, but it's not top tier. Baron Davis, Gary Payton, and Lebron James can all put up those numbers with ease.
Actually, this is one of the more intresting trade proposals. It makes more sense than the Kobe/McGrady trades in my opinion. I agree McGrady does sort of look listless these days in Orlando. I think the ONLY way to get McGrady is for a team to do a trade of this magnitude where the Magic get a star player in return in which they can build upon. And I think McGrady would have to "force" the trade by saying he is leaving and that they should get something for him before he leaves. The only thing that bothers me about McGrady is his 'bad back.' Those things just NEVER go completely away. But other than that, he is a super talent. I think he would do wonders here. We would have a leathal inside/outside game with Yao and McGrady. Yao and McGrady VS Shaq and Kobe? AWESOME! McGrady is a superstar, NOW. Francis MIGHT be a superstar one day. I think he is a level below McGrady right now. I know this year Francis is playing well but dont forget how well McGrady has played the last few seasons. Don't look at his play this season as a barometer. All medical issues asside, I would make this move. Get McGrady in here as the 2 or the 3 and then just look for a role player point guard such as a Brent Barry or something like that. I actually like Francis quite a bit and if I had my druthers I would like to see this team win a championship with Yao and Francis as the building blocks, but if the team feels they can upgrade over Francis then I guess they have to do it.
So, I guess nobody would whine about Yao not getting enough shots if McGrady were playing on the Rockets...
This is getting ridiculous. The Rockets are winning, we're 4-1, you think people would be happy, instead we keep getting threads that say "Trade Mobley for this guy" or "Trade Cato for this guy" or "Trade Francis for this guy" or "This guy is a better coach then Van Gundy". I have an idea, let keep the team we have now, let them develop chemistry, and keep winning. Why bust up team chemistry by trading for another player just for the heck of it!?
