Sure...let's sign him, Karla, & Johnny Short Shorts. Then we can have a team that we all will really have a reason to b**** about.
JBC, This thread was GENUIS!!! You have brought all of the posters on this board together in UNITY!!! To actually fight against one cause.... Just take a look at what you have done.. The T-Mac and Yao Fans are standing together, the I love JVG and I hate JVG fans are stading together.. Man this was GENIUS!!!!
I prefer Jordan just his name in legacy will draw a double team and will give T-Mac and Yao open looks you cannot double three people. On the serious side a 23 year old Kirk Snyder is a million times better than a 41 year old Scottie Pippen. If we thought about this I would say just play Kirk a inch smaller 18 years younger, more athletic and way better than Pippen at this stage and probably with starters minutes wouldn't be too much worse than a younger Pippen.
Not saying that we should sign Pippen...but Kirk Snyder given starter minutes would be Miiiiles away from a young Scottie...from his third yr on he never averaged less than 16.5, 6.3 rebs or 5 assists....I doubt Snyder could even match one of those categories. Not knockin Snyder because he's a decent player, he just is what he is...and that IS getting overrated to vspan proportions, and NOT close to a young pippen.
After the Twolves buy out Eddie Griffin and release him, I'm going to start another unity thread. No wait, half the posters on this board still want him back - my bad.
Every member has had at least one Isiah Thomas moment in Clutchfans history, but this has got to be one of the worst.
I couldn't have put it better myself, we should sign him just so we can boo him for ten minutes a night. Pippen's momma wears underwear with the pee flap in the front.
Signing Pippen to be our backup point guard would be about as good as signing Manute Bol to be our backup point guard... On second thought, maybe the rockets should sign Pete Maravich to be our backup point guard (I'm well aware that he has long since been dead).
1) Not that JBC was serious, but the article was.... and the answer is, of course, undoubtedly 'Absolutely not.' He, in my opinion, was the worst thing that could have happened to our team when he came last time, and I say that having been VERY excited about seeing what he could do with our team back then when it was announced he was coming. Live and learn, but not twice. Talk about the wrong attitude... Pippen put a stake in the "heart of a champion years" with his contributions here as far as I am concerned. 2) I know it's true that he was named for it, but come on... 50 best all time? I know his numbers are good... and maybe what we got here wasn't "Vintage" pippen (And that was how many years ago?), but seriously... you can't list 50 players better than him, considering the situations he was handed (not to mention how he handled it all, seemed selfish and a quitter to me, and that was before he got here and munged things up)? 3) How much did he pay that Chicago writer to write that article? Ok, all that was about as necessary as this thread, so... mission accomplished I guess.
