Worst idea never. Scottie Quitten is the worst piece of scum to ever play for the organization, including Oakley. The only worse idea I can think of is a recent pointless thread proposing a trade for Dirkendouche.

    Bring Quitten back to Houston?
I've been trying for about 20 minutes to think of a worse idea —*making Rafer a player/coach, hiring Weisbrod as Morey's assistant, letting Tsakalidis wear #34 — and I can't do it.
There's a reason there aren't many 41-year-old point guards in the NBA. And if I was going to bring someone older than Dikembe to run the offense, it sure wouldn't be Pippen, who has to be the least popular Rocket to ever play here.
The only way I would bring Scottie back is if we also re-sign Barkley to drive him crazy.

Uh...since when was he a point guard, much less a "classic point"? He was a good ball handler/distributer for a forward but that is it.

Haha, Houston will never sign Pippen. Not because he's old and way past him prime, it'll be because of his whiny, quitting attitude that he showed here when we signed him. Barkley may be the "fat a$$" but at least he way loyal to his contract and the team.

I truly dislike Scottie Pippen. He was a selfish player with the Rox and he undermined a lot of what Rudy was trying to accomplish.

But that was a long time ago. A humbled, team-oriented Pippen could contribute to a team. He said he's checked his ego at the door, saying he only wants 15 minutes a game.

He would be a huuuuuuuuge distraction in Houston, though. People here loathe him. And for pretty good reason.

He won't sign in Houston, obviously, but I imagine he'll find a niche somewhere in the league.

Pippen Post Jordan = ZERO CHAMPIONSHIPS
    Horry post Rockets =FOUR CHAMPIONSHIPS
Horry vs Pippen (head to head in playoffs) winner = Big Shot Rob

What next? Vlade Divac playing for the Kings? Shaq demanding a trade to Lakers? Tim Hardaway becoming friends with John Ameachi? Hell no!

I agree. We should sign Pippen to play for the Rockets. While we're at it, we should see if Adolph Hitler is available to replace Van Gundy.

I hear Shawn Kemp has lost his appetite for Big Macs, and is in a tremendous shape himself.

I wonder how stable is 41 year old's knee. If Jalen Rose can't fit into the Suns at this stage of career there is no way 41 Scotty Pippen will.

But what the heck, I would love to see him back with some team, so we can whoop his ass for good, and settle everything once and for all.

And not very good when pressured, remember the big turnover against the Lakers that cost us a playoff game?

    And then he blamed Barkley?

    **** PIPPEN !!

I'm just playing. I saw this article and thought I could have some fun. The only person more hated on this board than Pippen is Karla Malone. I gave my own thread one star. :D

Pippen demonstrated the definition of getting owned in that series. But then again, Barkley hardly behaved in the manner which he should. That throwing a chair on Mobley's face was no-call, and a clear sign of defeat even though the match didn't end.
