I really think his shoulder injury was the main cause of his bad season last yr. I mean, he was shooting a horrible 3pt % too.

I like Tony D, he seems like a good guy. He has a hell of a 3pt shot and he hustles. He's servicable as a 3rd option PG. What's not to like? This guy gets too much hate.

Seeing Douglas and Lin succeed together will hurt Knicks fans more.

TD has his qualities. Otherwise, NYK wouldn't have given him the 4th year on the rookie contract. His main problem is decision making as the ball handler. McHale is wise to ask him to pass to cutter/roller the first moment he has a chance to. It serves him and the team that he is not keeping the ball in his hand for too long and not trying to create by driving too deep into the paint. Given this, he is a serviceable rotation player with good D and a streaky 3pt shot.

Only that he's not Jeremy Lin, basically. :) They've both been playing well.

I've been a TD guy since I saw how well he defended early in the season. He's been good all year, and great recently.

TD you don't suck anymore.

Huge game against the Bucks and I feel I can trust him now when he gives the starters a break. He's played very good recently.

You aren't comparing him to Tony Allen in terms of defense are you?

Anyway Tony's a solid shooter from deep. I think he will keep it up.

Tony Douglas is my vote for most improved player but I hope he doesn't get it due to the curse involved. I had no idea how bad NY was coaching him but he's much better than I thought and in stretches he's better than what NY pgs replaced him and Lin with no pun intended lol.

Declutch was coming off an pretty seriouse shoulder surgery in the offseason so he the early season struggles from the 3pt line were due to that, but since then he has been the most reliable 3pt shooter on this team.He plays solid defence was gets the ball up the court.

Props to Toney. I wasn't sold on him coming into this season, but he's performed well and even huge at times. If he can keep working on his 3-point shot, he could be a real asset in this offense.

I'm glad Toney's doing so well, he's a nice guy and seems to work hard. I was tough on him early in the season, but I think the coaches have really put him in a position to succeed by playing to his strengths - I'm very happy to eat crow. His 3pt% is .414  so he fits perfectly on this team to help space the floor and hit some big shots when needed.
