You'd have to think you could land a much better long term option in the future if they needed to trade Asik (assuming him and Dwight have trouble playing on the floor together). Garnett wouldn't be a terrible option if Harden, and Howard were both in the last year of their deals and you needed to win it all right here and now this season, but this team needs to continue to think long term.
i'd rather have timmy instead of kg. how about greg smith for garnett, forget the whole salary thingy.
