Seeing that we failed in our attempt to get Kent Blazemore, why not trade for Ben McLemore for a back-up SG/SF? Many reasons for this, and one being that this guy is just 23 years old and played in all 82 games last season. With the injury history of Gordon and Anderson, McLemore make sense. He has a sweet jumper, shot just under 36% from 3s last season and has elite athelicism. This guy is what we envisioned K.J. McDaniels to be by now but McLemore has way more 'supreme" athelicism. The type of the players D'Antoni likes, and putting him in a system with a defined role that he can grow into will aid us well. The Sacramento Kings need a PG. How about we offer P.Bev for McLemore? He's a solid two-way player. His only knock is ball-handling skills but he's improving. For now, he can give us shooting, getting to the basket and athelicism. I much rather have a guy like him around with Gordon's injury history and Ariza' lack of athelicism. What do you guys think?
Put the bong down and back slowly away!! Get yourself in rehab right away!! Maybe we can trade the rights to Gentile to Philly for Ben Simmons in your next hallucination!!
This has been brought up many times in the random trade thread. Mclemore would fit if Harden was moved to SF and Ben would backup Gordon.
Since we're throwing value, salary, and pretty much everything out the window in this hypothetical, why not just trade brewer for him? We get him off our books forever, and we get Ben.
I am sorry. Just saw this was your 1st post and you just signed up. Welcome!! It is a little different in the NBA than in NBA 2K16. You can't force a trade on somebody because you like their player. You actually have to give value in return for the Kings to accept a trade.
If McLemore were reasonably attainable he may be the asset needed to get Philly to turn loose of Noel with a Capela sweetner.
He's really not a very good player. Never liked him in college and he's been much worse than anyone thought since entering the pros. He was over drafted and is not a good prospect; that's why Sactown is trying to get rid of him. Maybe for Corey Brewer

HAHAHA ofc Lebron would say that. Since Mclemore is a Klutch Client. If he's traded for almsot nothing yes.. We should take a flyer on him even though his bball iq isn't high and he can't defend well or shoot well. For Bev? Nope.
You got that backward. Ben Mclemore would fit at the 3 and Harden as the PG. Or, Ben at the 3, E.Gordon at the 2 and Harden as the PG. Keep in mind, the PG spot have to be a playmaker for the D'Antoni system. Harden and Gordon are the only two that can pull that off and not Beverley. Berverley really don't fit this system. The Rockets and D'Antoni' focus though is on Shooters. If you can have all 4 spots with players that can shoot and have the ability to get to the rim with athelicism, that's the ideal situation for small ball. Id trade any of P.Bev/T. Ariza/S. Dekker for McLemore. With Lemore, you have elite elticism at the 3...something needed with the D'Antoni system. I couldn't help but salivate at a small ball.unit like: Capela - C. NeNe - P.F B.McLemore - S.F. E. Gordon - SG J.Harden - PG Or for fun experiement: Capela - C. Nene - P.F. McLemore.- S.F. K.J. McDaniels - S.G. J. Harden - PG All that athelicism with Capela/Nene/McLemore and K.j. Espeicially McLemore and K.J. !!
Eric Gordon isn't a good playmaker to run a team's offence. Not that Bev is but Gordon isn't as well. Also Mclemore has plenty of trouble defending sgs if you put him against sfs he will be even worse. He's a sg ONLY.
