Man, some of you guys are sucking the fun out of this game. I stand by the decision to not count slang terms, or, words used in a slang type phrase. I don't think its fair for anyone to forbid the use of shortened words/slang or count it as a kill (i.e "commish"). Its all about intent IMO, and I don't want people to be killed cause of technicalities. Also, on the edit feature: Editing in itself is not a killable offense. And if someone makes a typo, and corrects it before someone else catches that mistake, then there is nothing I can do. Just having "edited by" underneath a post is not a killable offense.
Screw it then. I don't wanna be a buzzkill. I'm back in. If I win, I guess some people will probably give me an asterisk. But I can live with that.
I don't know what counts as a kill anymore after reading the debate in this thread, but I think that this might just be the end for Rockets2K. Also about me typing up "commish". I'm perfectly ok (or should it be okay ) with it being regarded as a kill. It will just follow the trend of me going out because of the "sim" again. Last time around it was "textfile". Whatever is decided I'm fine with. I know I don't post much, so taking advantage of what I do post is expected. But I would think I type up enough "typos" for what I do post. At least that is what happen in chat. Happy hunting.
Because Heath is a non-native English speaker, I think that "happen" clearly falls under the category of grammar rather than that of spelling.
It is not a kill. For one it was before the 7 a.m. start time, and two, it was accepted by codell. By all means, you are still in the game unless Batman got you on "happen" vs. "happens". B
http://bbs.clutchcity.net/showthread.php?s=&postid=1299522#post1299522 This may be safe under the slang rule, but I would like to know what it means. B
Terminated RM95 in this thread: http://bbs2.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?s=&threadid=75455 Used "you're team" instead of "your team"
B!!! you must be one of the few people in existence that doesn't know what a Ent is... see Bailey's pic above...or watch the LOTR movies.
that's one of those things that I always get wrong....the whole 'who vs whom' and 'a vs an' thing. I intended to say 'a' and not 'an'...if I had intended to say 'an' ( and trust me, I would own up if I did) then yes, I would be toast.
How about owning up to the it's kill instead? Also if Batman wants me gone on 'happen' then I'll do what's right and call it a kill.
