Yo, if that's a kill, kill me now. That's the least of my slang driven violations. Personally, I think intent should be taken into serious account in this kind of game. Is "porve" a kill? "your mean?" "maybe, maybe no?" I also regularly abbreviate "about" as "bout." I can maybe avoid that sort of thing for the game, but not something like abbreviating "want is" as want's. To me, that's silly. But it's not my game. I'll play by whatever rules you guys want. If them's the rules (yes, I said them's), kill me off, bossman. It'd be cooler if you waited until (can't say "til" either, I trust?) I actually made a mistake, but it ain't a big deal.

p.s. I'm pretty sure "dickishness" isn't a word either. Is that a kill? I wouldn't last an hour under those kinds of rules.

Shouldn't we have a dedicated kill thread as well?

That is why I posted “out” with a question mark. I was not sure if it was a legitimate kill, but I have never seen a contraction used for "want+is". A spell checker will reject "want's", but it will accept "how's".

It is not up to me if it is a proper kill, codell has the final say on it.

That's cool, B. I'm pretty sure this isn't meant to be an exercise in perfect, proper English though. That'd make for some pretty boring posting. (A spell checker won't accept "sig" either. Do we need to start saying "signature?" Is "hata" a kill? Is "Rox?") If you can point out where I made a mistake (intended one thing, typed another), I'll die happily. But it wasn't a mistake and I'm almost sure it isn't a kill.

I was knocked out last year because of an "its vs. it's" situation.

Yeah, that's a tough one. I had to get him quick though. He doesn't post much.

"want's" should definitely be a kill. Intentional or not, it falls under the kill rules.

Should "wanna?" I totally disagree and think it kind of (should "kinda" be a kill?) murders the spirit of the game, but I'll abide by whatever codell thinks is best.

That was incorrect? If it was, then it was a punctuation error, not a spelling one. Since when did this become a punctuation game?

    oh, and :p

Eh, I've never been great with punctuation. So, how is using "it's" incorrect if you're using it to show possession?

That's a horrible rule. For one thing, many times people edit longer than the three minutes it takes for it to show up. Also, if you're not caught before you edit, then it's not a kill.

Hahaha I wasn't editing for spelling. The funny thing is B already caught me earlier (at the top of the page). MAN! I thought for sure I'd last until the last few. I think it's crap, really because it's not that I didn't know how to spell "though" just had a typo and added a t.:( That edit thing though really wasn't about spelling.

As far as I'm concerned, I still haven't spelled anything wrong, but if I'm out, I'm out.:(
