    (While we're on the subject of punctuation, you might want to correct your signature. Your use of the comma in "My spelling is actually pretty good, however my use of apostrophes sucks!" is improper. It should read "My spelling is actually pretty good; however, my use of apostrophes sucks!")

    Even if that were the case, what you describe is a punctuation problem, not a spelling one. I've seen numbering used both ways (with and without apostrophe), so I believe it's not a black and white issue. If that does constitute a kill, then you'd have to go back and make sure ALL uses of apostrophes are correct (including plural form, which would kill like 90% of the people on this BBS).
