Again, it is really not fair to be in the game and have no marking in your signature. With codell's approval those folks should be dead as of 5 p.m. CST TODAY. Let me know if I missed or labeled anyone wrong.

I don't know... I would SAY: "Let's go get AN Arby's big beefy..." or "I would like AN RC cola please..." (Sounds like "AR SEE") so does that mean that one should place the "an" before a word that only STARTS with a vowel or also one that sounds like it starts with a vowel? That is a tough one. I would say not a kill.
Why is that a kill? Is there a word "restate"? Not in the official dictionary for the competition. edit: Weird, I just typed it in again, and it came up with a definition. I'm sure it didn't first time.
Most odd, it's not included in Cambridge Dictionary of American English, but it is in other Cambridge dictionaries...
I forget the rules on proper names: http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?s=&postid=1302710#post1302710 Technically it is Baskin-Robbins.
This is a tough one... I might have to go to the instant replay... According to the official rules of the game we are using ONE dictionary, The Cambridge Dictionary of American English. That dictionary says that there is no such word, so "re-state" would be acceptable. Borderline. But acceptable. What the hell. Tie goes to the runner. I say Bailey is still alive.
