That was being sarcastic to the OP, because he is asking some to leave.

Since you're not included in "us" - when did they prove you they can win exactly?

It's nothing wrong to be optimist, but it's less wrong to be disappointed.

If you'd read the thread, I clearly stated later on down that if you have posted in this thread, it's clear you haven't quit, or left.

So admit it. You believe! :D

Will the whistling continue after our impending destruction at the hands of the Lakers?

Quitter? This fool is the definition of a quitter:

Yeah I understand fronting Yao will cause us problem. But this shortfuse3 quitter believes that simply fronting Yao the whole game the Blazers will blow us out. So this shortfuse3 has quitted even before they try it. What a quitter.

For real: faithless, heartless fans really piss me off. They call themselves "realists" or "unbiased"; I call them weak.

Seriously, it shows weakness of character... not as much as being a bandwagoner or fair-weather fan does, but it does. I really think you can tell a lot about a person by the way they follow sports, as crazy as that sounds.

why are so many people arroused by negativity on the boards.

i can only imagine the number of arguments here-in the 8 or 9 pages of this thread...a thread based on calling people out.

I think clutch should make a few "roll call" stickys categorizing our members so that way we can avoid confusion on the intentions of each post and decrease arguments...especially when it comes to degrading another's intelligence. I'm not saying i'm not the type to defend myself if someone wants to say i don't make sense.

I guess it makes it okay because all of us Rockets fans are soooo "intelligent" and "real".

please, we are not. And we can't control if our Rockets win or lose. The only way we can effect the ROCKETS...is to cheer loud at TC, call the radio shows and scream pride and support.

    cheer loud.
    cheer loud.
    cheer loud.
    cheer loud.

and let our guys feed off it. that's the only way we can truly influence the Rockets path.

not so my friend. Read any of my numerous posts in here about these drunken idiots posing as so called "fans". All of them were preparing to jump off of roofs and bashing my beloved Rockets.......but the Landlord was right here....handing out faith to the masses and yankin fools Clutchcards by the dozens. You see Mr. Emmaunuel, may I call you Emmanuel?......I don't run and quiver.....I don't care if we are playing the Lakers or the Clippers. I'm pickin Houston to win, and I honestly think that 60% of the time, the Rockets are gonna win everytime.

I, for one, am UBER frustrated by this team.

But its not because I am not a fan...I get misty eyed just thinking about 1994-1996. Its because this team has the TALENT and the CAPABILITY to take us to a level that 12 years later we can have a run like that one and feel what we felt back then about our organization.

We have a 28 year old, highly skilled center. (Olajuwon....ISH) Check.
We have a brute strong, defensive wingman in his prime. (Maxwell) Check.
We have a top notch, in your face defender who doesn't score much but hits clutch 3's. (Elie) Check.
We have fast, scoring point guard who takes questionable shots but is faster than a freakin jet and can score in bunches. (Kenny Smith) Check.

We have ALOT of what the old teams have. Except TWO KEY INGREDIENTS it seems...

    HEART.

    INTELLIGENCE.

And that is where the utter frustration just boils over for me. You see that JVG sees exactly what I am talking about. This team has is so primed for a run that can last like...4-5 years EASY. And yet, our other franchise player is a twat. The center acts like a twat how soft he plays and lets people push him around. And when he turns into Superman, they GO AWAY FROM HIM IN THE POST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Artest starts chunking up **** and Brooks with his bricks and Lowry and Wafer doing crap out of control and the coach calling stupid plays instead of feeding the ball to the hot player...

Just makes you want to freakin SCREAM!

The dumbness and lack of heart displayed is WAY too much for someone who just LOVES the organization and the championship years that I dream about it in my sleep about once a month at least!

To be happy again about this team causes me to "b**** and whine". Its the love I have for this organization.

    I WANT DOMINATION!!!!!!!!

Please!!!! these rockets seem to do the same thing over and over again. They realize that Yao is our bread and butter in one game, and in the next game they don't go to him????? The hardest thing about getting Yao the ball is if you really don't want to pass it to him! If the our guards wanted to truly get the ball into the post they would. But they don't want to pass Yao the ball. They would rather run and shoot vs wait and set up. This roller coaster ride can get very frustrating  Personally I was hoping to steal 2 games from portland before they realized that they were a better team than us.
