Honestly I hope the players and Rockets staff never come visit this forum.

The forum is full of negativity and bashers.

One good game they praise the players to the MVP level.
One bad game they put them back to the dirt.

Few games ago Yao was the hero. Today with all the trade Yao talk.

These fans are just as inconsistence as Ron or Aaron.
    In a word, Sucks.

yes.. i'm going to wait until this series wraps up before i start picking out a seat at the crow table..

i was enthused by the progress of game 1.. and continued battling in game 2.. thinking maybe.. they've overcome that self-destructive flaw of their's.. and were not going to be looking back.. but then game 3 happened..

so.. yes.. you'll pardon me.. if i choose to wait for a bigger and sustained sample size..

and no.. i am not.. nor will i.. ever dodge the moment if/when it comes...

in cases such as these.. i would enjoy being proved wrong.. that's what i've wanted from the beginning..

let us see on what note.. these Rockets decide end the series on.. and no.. they don't have to win..

Not really, i think its mostly a battle between the long time, pull for the rockets in any scenerio, i dont care who scores as long as the rockets win fans vs the i think such and such should get more shots, i follow the rockets because such and such, the rockets dont deserve such and such fans that create these tidal waves. Once we get everyone on board that its all about the front of the jersey and not the back, this forum will be back to what it used to be, intelligent basketball cnversation trying to understand how the rockets can get better and win a title, thats all.

according to your short-sighted expectations.. Luis Scola has performed as I expected him to all regular season.. Von Wafer did as well.. it took only the first consistent early showings of him in the starting line-up for me to know.. he would succeed with minutes increased.. after Tracy was sit out permanently.. Lowry has been doing nothing spectacular.. playing right where he ought to be.. which is solid.. Carl Landry.. we all know what he's capable of.. from last season.. other than that.. Artest has been Artest.. Battier has been Battier.. with the exception of his exerting a little more offensive determination and ability.. that we all knew he could do.. if he'd only be willing to..

no player on our team.. has played above their talent.. we have a good team.. a talented team.. the days of Sura, Barry, Wesley, and Mike James having to play beyond their norm.. for us to have just a chance at winning.. are over..

it's never been about this team's talent.. or depth.. it's been about their mentality.. to bring it all together.. they have shown spurts of it.. in Portlant.. and in La.. but they have still had those questionable moments in postseason games.. that we've known them to have most often than not..

all i said.. is that i wanted a larger sample size.. to see if they finally, truly have, turned the corner.. and have conquered this flaw of their's.. pierced it squarely in the heart.. marched over it.. never to look back.. again..

that was my concern.. when it's proved no longer valid beyond a shadow of a doubt.. which has a great deal of potential to.. with the remainding games of this series..

i will happily eat crow.. and take seconds.. even fifths.. i want to be proven wrong..

now if we can cease bringing any further argumentative attitudes into this post.. and this forum.. until the series wraps up.. and just wait and see.. i really prefer not to've been prompted to yet another redundant post in this same thread.. but you seemed eager to be reminded of my actual stance.. and cause for my wait..

and my apologies to Aaron Brooks.. who has been putting forth some admirable performances in these playoffs.. for leaving him out..

again.. while i didn't expect 28+ ppg performances from him in the regular season.. let alone those he's put up in the postseason.. it was clear that he would be an explosive offensive PG.. however streaky.. that could be capable of 20+ point games.. he demonstrated that early on.. and continued.. with displays of clutch shooting intermingled.. to have such games through the regular season.. in accordance and appropriate to.. his streaky nature..

If only AARON brooks can maintain this style of play EVERY game. Wow he would be top 5 PG best PG easily the way he played today but to bad he's to streaky with no good quality PG skills and court vision.

You should have eaten plenty of crow after the Portland series.
Why don't you just shut up already? It's impolite to talk with your mouth full.

If he did then people would complain that he is shooting too much and not passing Yao the ball. It's a hard situation for the kid. He is told to get the ball to yao every time down (even if Yao cannot get position til late in the shot clock), so he is hesitant to shoot. With Yao out of the way I expect AB to be free to score at will.

If the Rockets give it their all in Game 6 and lose..

If the Rockets have a sub-par effort in Game 6 and lose..

Hell if the Rockets come out flat in Game 6 and lose...

This season has been a success. We've overcome obstacles all season with Yao's injury being the latest. This has been a resilient Rockets all season.

no.. unlike your kind of fandom.. mine doesn't go as the wind blows.. game by game.. or series by series.. i like to be more observant.. maintain a certain degree of objectivity.. and to always take things in with a wise and patient.. big-picture-prespective..

so i won't bring up game 5 into this.. as i'd be reducing myself to your small stature of character.. as i said.. i'll wait to see how exactly these Rockets choose to end this series..

lastly.. do always bother to recall my actual stance in this thread.. and my thoughts on the team as is.. my actual and expressed concern.. before you click "submit reply".. although the ability to stop and think.. may come very difficult for you.. try your best if you're going to bother to reply to me.. however...when in doubt.. or if it just seems too much for your level of thought to bear.. simply avoid this thread altogether.. and prevent such impulsive, quick-on-the-fingers-slow-in-the-mind urges to respond..

as you cautioned.. "it's impolite to talk with your mouth full".. and you seem to've manged to've lodged both feet firmly in yours.. in just three sentences..

to be more accurate to what i meant.. since some here appear to have trouble understanding.. i meant i won't get into game 5.. because obviously.. i technically did mention it..
