When ya'll are done suckin each other's ****s, can we get back to discussing the trade in the other thread?
I consider this is proof that Daryl Morey does read our clutchfan's threads for trade ideas and free agent signings. If enough of suggest a ridiculous trade of aaron brooks and carl landry for Kobe, Morey will make it happen.
You give some of us too much credit. Otherwise, Von Wafer would have been resigned because there was about a thousand posts saying to bring him back...granted it was all from one member...
Thank God nobody's bumping all the threads where we trade everybody on our team for everybody else in the league. I think we've traded everybody for everyone by now, so we're bound to hit on one or two here and there.
This wasn't a trade thread and the signing wasn't a trade. It was a good call all around, he should be entitled to bump a thread like this. As for it being proof; it is definitely proof of nothing, so we can agree there. Anywho, props OP -- hopefully mccants works out.
One thing I'm wondering though is what does Les Alexander think of all this? He plunked down 9 million for Lull, Bud and J. Taylor, and another 12 million for Andersen (3 million to Atlanta, 3 year 9 million contract for Andersen), and now Morey got Will Conroy, Rashad Mcants and Pops on non-guaranteed contracts. If I was Les I wouldn't know whether to praise or strangle Morey lol. If you think about it if we hadn't signed Andersen we could have made an offer to Leon Powe as well. I'd take a Powe/Pops combo over Andersen, and they'd probably be cheaper as well.
Come on now Doctor, You know you want to throw some credit at me. Don't act like you're not impressed...
