great game by him. but until this becomes at least somewhat regular i'd still like to see him less.

however no doubt. he was instrumental tonight.

I was most impressed with his passing tonight. His passes off of screens to Tmac are not easy passes. Tmac can catch and shoot all in one motion because of Rafer's passes which was catching the defense off guard. Great all around game by Rafer. Keep it up. We didn't play all the well and still won in SA so I am ecstatic about that. Freakin Spurs hack like crazy down the stretch.

i counted 1 where he forced the issue, 1!!!
2 other times he missed "teardrops" but they were good runners in the lane...

tell me when have you seen rafer more under control this season? when have you seen rafer hit more teardrops than miss?

Finally something good happens to Rafer. He deserves it after all the hard work he has put in practicing his shot over the summer. I really don't get all the Rafer hate, sure he's very inconsistent and I'll admit I cringe sometimes when he shoots but this guy has heart. He either play surprisingly well or comes through at the right time when you less expected (such as going 29 against the Suns even though we lost). Admit or not but he's dedicated in making the team better and himself overall. Hopefully he can have more nights like this.

Kudos to you Rafer. This was a team win, everyone came through tonight...especially Juwan, Chuck, and you guessed it....T-MAC!! :D

He had to take that shot chief...T-Mac threw it to him with like 2 seconds on the shot clock...he did a good job of even getting a shot up on the rim in a situation like that, there was definetely no time to pass to somebody else in that situation

Do not praise the guy. This is a 3 times a month type night for him. Now he is gonna think he is good and jack up more shots. Reminds of how Mike Vick will have a good passing night and the media responds with "he has learned the west coast offense, he is a monster, I wish he was here so I could slurp him"... Vick cant pass. Rafer cant shoot. Good game though. Enjoy it while it lasts.

Ummm...when he goes on a 'streak' (i.e. three or more games in a row) of good games we can talk.

Until then, it's a bit too early to create a Rafer "appreciation thread". He played well tonight and held his own against Parker; I was impressed by his performance tonight.

Hopefully he will keep making his floaters moving forward...if he makes three out of every ten he takes, it would drastically improve his overall shooting percentage inside the arc.
