Why worry about it when he will not be back next season. Dwight has done well in the league and entering at an early age he has played lots of NBA ball. He is on the tail end of his career and still believes he is a max player. I hope he does sign somewhere else but the Rockets will have lots of needs to be address for next season. As for the end of this season still hoping for a miracle.
D12 gets no credit for the 4 or 5 times a game the announcers say "and Dwight made them change their shot..." because it shows nowhere on the stat sheet... When an opposing player blows by his defender and Dwight flies forward to try help, only to have the ball get dropped downlow for an easy dunk - Dwight gets criticized.. When the opposing player blows by his defender and has 15 feet of open alley and floats it up over Dwight as he flies forward - Dwight gets criticized.... When JB has Dwight covering guys out on the perimeter and the other team has a field day under the hoop - Dwight gets criticized... I'm not saying Dwight hasnt regressed... but the defensive woes begin before the opposing player even makes it into the paint...
Looks to me all he does is pads his reb stats, and whines about bs. This was the stuff everyone was saying in Laker land how the kid is trash, and a baby. He should have a nice contract with the Milwakee bucks next season a 2 year 20 mil option with last year a buy out option lol....
