@ Moe what about having Food trucks on College Campuses??? It be convenient and on the go since the students never have time to snake up on food.. Not sure if they already do that at the campuses...

so does anyone have a real review of the festival? we almost went on saturday but found out it was sold out. my sister and brother in law went to the one in austin several months back and said that while the concept was cool it was a total cluster*****... kinda sounds like the same thing happened over here.

and to the person that recommended making a food truck "court" with several trucks stationed at a permanent location, there is one being proposed in midtown near or on the light rail... hopefully it comes to fruition.

It was definitely a cluster gig. Some of the trucks knew what they were doing (Zilla for example) - cut down their menu and had stuff ready to go. Other trucks, (Eatsies for example) would take orders, wind up cooking their stuff, and making people wait for 45-1hr.

The food was awesome. I split up with my friend, she'd wait in line somewhere, I'd wait in another, and we'd meet up to try each others dishes, then repeat. So it wasn't too bad.

Beer makes the lines easier to handle.

The thing could use better art/stuff to buy, more food trucks and a better location. Music I don't really care about, its about the food.

I seriously don't get why they picked that location.

I needed an industrial strength box of Tampax yesterday.

I saw some Chevy commercial where some kid salutes his dad as he's coming home from war and I went off for 10 minutes about how cliche and trite it was.

Gotta give it all up for the good of my children.

Seriously though, keep it up. Smoking blows (or sucks, depending on the moment).

thanks man...it really hasn't been as hard as i thought. as i said in the other thread, to me the key is realizing resisting temptation will always taste better than giving in for that one or two cigs.
