Come on now man, bakersfield is over 100 miles from LA. Baytown, Tomball, Katy are like 30 miles from downtown Houston. It's not like he's from Beaumont.
Yeah, you can't compare the two. Closer places like OC are still 80-90 minutes in traffic to LA. I10 & Mason is Katy; it takes like 15 minutes to get into Houston from there. Lol
I love it when suburbanites claim H-town though, like they came from the hood and know all about urban living while never stepping foot in a HISD school or paying Houston utilities. Keep it up from the confines of Cyprus.

You prove my point. If a guy from those areas of greater LA signed with LA, the stigma would be he is a hometown kid. "born and raised rooting for LA" You do not venture out much. Just because someone says something that isn't true doesn't make it true. Butler has corrected people that have said he's from Houston. He's told them he's from Tomball.
