    Bosh is not the saviour of this franchise, he's an allstar that puts up good numbers on a bad team, thats it.

    Dear Chris...

    Houston is a fine city with many wonderful attributes, I won't bore you with all the details... but the bottom line is that we want you here playing for us, very much. Sure LeBron might be nice, Wade would be cool, Amare is great, but you are the guy the organization has wanted all along. You are priority #1 in our minds. That should tell you everything you need to know about what we think of your talents, so don't knock Houston until you've tried it.

    In Houston you will potentially make even more money off of your contract due to no state income tax (ask Carlos Beltran how much he could have saved in taxes by staying in Houston versus New York).

    The Rockets are a class organization with a great coach, great owner, and the best young GM in the league (see recent moves: Vassilus Spanoulis for Luis Scola; Rafer Alston for Kyle Lowry; Aaron Brooks, Carl Landry, Chase Budinger all drafted late first/second round and playing like lottery picks). You will be surrounded with talent continuously unlike anywhere else, and you will have a chance to be the number one option with great scorers around you like Kevin Martin, Aaron Brooks, and Yao Ming. All of this in Rick Adelman's system where scoring big men like yourself flourish (think Chris Webber in Sacramento).

    We play with more heart than any team in the league, as you saw last year in the playoff series against the Lakers. We almost took them down last year, and with you there is no doubt that we can. You can be the missing piece.

    Definitely. Rep it and any others that are quality takes. Myself and a few others are doing just that.

    We can piss and moan because of some ESPN source about something relayed to Bosh's agent, or we can make a pitch on why he should come to Houston. If it doesn't work out, then that's life... but give it a good shot.

    We're not in the market for a savior. We are not the Knicks.

    We are looking for a primary option with all-star talent to fit with the core we have in place. You just called him an all-star yourself, so he is what we need.

    Well actually i'm against trading for Bosh (if we're gonna have to give up Hill and take on a max contract in the process). So i guess you could say my post was in mild protest to Clutch's thread, respectfully of course :grin:
