Can you be more specific? I don't think he is the future of the Texans either, but he will be back here next year as the backup, and I am fine with that. Another year learning this system could make him a very good backup - OB did wonders with him in his first season in it. Iow, don't burn your bridges - I don't see any franchise QB's riding in here on white chargers next season either.
First QB I will ultimately put myself completely 100% behind since the beginning of the Texans not named Matt Schaub. I saw multiple throws today where Watson's eyes were manipulating DB's or scanning the field while evading the rush. Won't forget this game. Pretty sure we saw the birthing of our star QB.
