    Rockets went to switch everything in 2nd half and got back in the game.

    This hybrid defense is putrid and there are no players, ZERO, who play it at elite level.

    Not only are the Rockets more "comfortable" playing switch everything defense, the Rockets are flat out more dangerous when playing switch everything defense IN CONJUNCTION with 5 out offense.

    Being able to play both helps us. Different scenarios calls for different play styles on defense and offense. Give the players weapons to chose from.

    When our players are very terrible at reading picks and cuts, we should definitely switch everything to dumb things down.

    Not if drop coverage is absolute cheeks.

    Going small allowed Rockets to pull away in 2nd half, playing drop coverage 1st half was an embarrassment on defense.

    So if Silas wants to play multiple defenses then it is incumbent on him to ensure the Rockets know their shet.

    Jack of all trades, master of none is not going to cut it.

    Walk the talk.

    It has as much to do with the defensive scheme used as much as the players, maybe even moreso.

    Schedule: (currently 2-3)

    @Pacers
    Magic
    Lakers
    Lakers
    @ SPURS
    @ SPURS
    @Bulls
    Suns
    @Pistons
    @Mavs
    Wizards
    Blazers
    @Pelicans

    Can’t fast track learning the defense. Takes actual real time action against opponents to work out the kinks.

    Still think the Rockets go 10-8 to start season (end of January). 5 more losses out of this schedule.

    Then things will become smoother.

    I’d trade RoCo for Wood 10 X out of 10
