Houston we have a problem

    If we don't nab a player during the season or over the offseason... we actually will be screwed.

    But if this team is at 14-7 after January (which... look at our schedule in January, it could easily happen)... the #1 options on all of these bad teams will start looking at the Rockets thinking "man, they might just be one guy away".

    Because there are a lot of other teams in the NBA that have the same mentality that you want the Rockets to have, but they have that mentality because they just don't have the talent and have to wait a few years for their picks to develop into players. I look at teams like Philly or Indiana... if they are a sub .500 team when the trade deadline starts to roll around. They might take a flyer on a few of our guys for Iggy or Granger if they believe they are still a few years away from being competitive.

    What is with all the Iggy love he is not a superstar heck he's not even a star. Iggy is a 3rd option type player. Granger is a borderline allstar he is not going to change the Rockets future. Granger is a 2 option. Even if the Rockets got one of these guys they would still need a superstar.
