yeah OP i am going to call u an idiot as well cause by your theory there are too many unknowns, just becuase a young player has potential does not mean he will reach it (swift????).

but I am going to agree with you that the rockets are in a F-up position. We have a core group of role players acting as stars. I don't see how a championship team can be built around lowry, martin and scola. All three are great players, but nothing in compared to what some teams have. I would prefer the rockets to trade for picks/young talent.

I want the rockets to rebuild. I really don't want to see another season of low seeded playoffs or just missing the playoffs. Many people hate the idea of tanking and feel that making the playoffs will improve on our experience. experience will not make this team great like the thunder a few years ago. We need a corner stone for the team to be built around.

I understand that star players don't grow on trees, drafts are unpredictable, but I personally am sick of this mediocrity.

It is sad that people just don't get it. I never said that all of these young players on other teams will become stars.

I don't have a crystal ball I don't know if Demarcus Cousins is going to become a allstar or eventually eat himself out of the NBA.

My point is that at least teams with young talent have a chance for a brighter future. They have a brighter future not only because of the young talent on the roster but also because they are at least in the running for winning the lottery and getting a difference maker in the draft.

Houston we have another problem. The young players on the rockets are not looking good. Cbud has regressed. P Pat did not get enough pt in his 1st game. T Will has not impressed. Jordan Hill is not getting enough pt and Marcus Morris is not even getting a chance.

The rockets are playing too many guys. Players can't develop playing 15-2o minutes a night.

Players develop in practice. Players get acclimated to NBA game speed in games.

PatPat is trying to get healthy. No big deal.

CBud is miscast on Rockets. Big deal there if Rockets don't find way to get him involved or trade him. Also, needs to develop 3pt shot into 40% range.

TWill...needs more seasoning, but they've already added a ton of pepper.

Hill is not a center. He is a 4 that thrives in a transition game only.

Morris needs practice. Not a big deal.

Parsons has looked good in limited time.

Motiejunas lead the Euroleague in rebounding after rebounding being the biggest knock on his game. Just needs more bulk and consistency. Prone to great and horrifying games.

Sergio Lllull is working on PG skills in Euroleague. Numbers translate to about 10.5 pp40min, 3.4 rp40min, and 8.4 ap40min.

Thabeet can't hold his ground and will have hard time defending his position.

Flynn...I'll discuss him when he stops dribbling...

Can't develop in practice in this shortened season. Their just aren't that many practices. Also practice is never the same as playing in games. Players truly develop through playing time.

Disagree. It will be difficult for guys like Morris to develop this season. Playing players that aren't ready causes bad habits to form.

The funny thing is... Houston has the youngest team in the league on average. The only two guys you really consider old are Scola and Dalembert. Dalembert if he even stays on this team is basically going to be the Mutombo of the team... so age doesn't really matter there. Scola could probably average 18-8 when he's 36. He seems like a guy that ages really well in the NBA and doesn't rely on athleticism much with his game. Also... we're already looking at having a good 30 million in cap space next season.

You guys don't want to rebuild, you want to suck just so you can get a high pick.

Houston the problem still exists, the Rockets might be headed to the playoffs for a first round exit as well as giving away our pick.

Worst case scenario Rockets make the playoffs.

I'm kind of wondering if a mod created this nick just for the entertainment value. After all, it was banned and then re-activated after a short time. Nobody can possibly really be this stupid and annoying.
