Exactly, all this guy has done is to make himself seem like a paranoid delusional conspiratist with no life. He comes across as pathetic.

If you want to heckle an ex-president, that's fine, but it's nothing more than that. Does this guy think he's Michael Moore?

 

This guy came across as a moron. I'm all for calling out elected leaders but at least sound educated, composed and above all...stay classy.

 

Bush 41 gets a bad rap. He was responsible for a lot of the early recovery in the early 90's but was kneecapped by an increasingly right wing GOP for raising taxes. He also handled Iraq appropriately IMO by not invading Baghdad and stopping at kicking Iraq out of Kuwait. I wish his son had shown similar restraint in war and such willingness to compromise on domestic policy as well.

 

Awesome Pizza. I've never been treated poorly there and used to eat there about once a week.

 

Well you aren't the 41st President of the US otherwise you might've gotten an earful..

 

The whole reason this makes me lol is that I was there last week, chick i'm dating lives next door to the place.

The alfredo pizza is freaking good.

 

The parts you cited sound pretty nutty-- or at least very unproven.

I do think, however, that you should reconsider the recent post in which you said Bush I was a great guy and an underrated president.

Is there anything that causes you to have less than moderate contentment?

That was hilarious. This guy is a total loser. I wonder how many days he's been sitting outside Fuzzy's in order to catch Bush go there to eat? Then when he finally encounter's him he sounds like a drunken sports fan throwing out obscenities. I guess he couldn't think of anything more intelligent to say.

 

I think he's an underrated businessman, intellect and administrator. CWS title, WWII pilot, founding the predecessor to Pennzoil, running your party and the CIA is a solid resume whoever the hell your dad is. But he couldn't win back in the '60s and '70s, so he sold out his old man's social and fiscal pragmatism and his own raw business and economic sense to get a ride on the Reagan train. Then he promised fiscal dementia to beat that Greek midget, and when he tried to balance the checkbook Gingrich and Clinton fed on his carcass.

Worse still, when his insight and perspective as an ex-President could have best helped the public discourse and policy for the better, his most troubled and difficult son completely turns his life around and gets elected. I guess all the Op-Eds, think tank fellowships and War Room consults in the world are no match for being a proud and supportive father.

I didn't agree with GH Bush on Iraq or Panama but at least he got a UN Resolution, assembled a broad based coalition including Syria, and limited the scope of the conflict. He bucked his own party on the 1990 budget which helped pave the road to fiscal discipline so yes that sounds like an underated President.

As for anything that gets me out of my moderate contentment yes, extremism and knee jerk reactions.

 

For those of you asking about the Pizza at Fuzzy.....

It's complete crap, overpriced, and a bunch of a-holes work there. The only edible pizza is the one with barbecue sauce. Their red sauce will make you want to vomit.
