not even remotely similar. Texas beat OU....but lost to a Texas Tech team that was still ranked and undefeated at the time. If Texas Tech beats OU, they're playing for the national championship. You're comparing that to losing to UTEP??? Not in the same ballpark.
Texas was at the end of that historically brutal stretch. How many weeks in a row was that against highly ranked opponents? Still makes me wonder about how BCS rankings played out...
that i get. i've seen that. but i don't recall seeing a team lose to such an unimpressive, no-name group after putting together the kind of wins they did in the 2 weeks before.
indeed; Texas broke down during, not after, a brutal stretch. a HISTORICALLY brutal stretch of like four or five games. UH melted down after two tough games to a freaking patsy. disappointing. just a huge let-down.
^ word... I will say that it was nice to see the national pub and all... I still believe in them and hope the kick the dog crap out of Miss. St. this weekend...
