Sometimes he looks horrible, but every once in a while he looks like Duane Brown's meaner younger brother. Very up and down, but when he's up he looks great. He's crazy mobile for a guy that big and strong. He's my sentimental pick for the 4th.
Before the draft he was unlikely to be good enough to make the team out of camp, now there's no chance at all that he'd be good enough to make the team out of camp. I'm sure someone will give him a shot on a one year deal if he really wants it or he'll retire.
The only way AJ ever wears a Texans jersey again is to sign a 1-day contract when he decides to retire.
Scooby also has no pass defense ability. To use him to his best ability he has to be a total freelancer, which I think a bunch of teams won't want to do with a guy who isn't a clear cut first round physical talent. If he finds someone that will let him run wild he could be impressive. If he goes somewhere and someone wants to force him to play in the system and contain his gaps, he's screwed. He needs a coach that will let him "JJ Watt" it.
If Gus Bradley is the coach they think he is that defense is going to be a monster quickly now. Have to see how it all plays out but the Titans and Jaguars have added a lot of "should be good" talent.

Mayock just said that he spoke to teams today and that it was only because teams don't think he can impact the pass.
Well that makes sense too, he's just a NT so only 3-4 teams would be interested and the value of a pure 2 down guy isn't what it used to be.
A whole bunch of 4-3 teams actually run a hybrid, with a NT and an "undertackle" 3 technique instead of a totally balanced front for a significant portion of the time.
Cool, Fuller 15, Miller 13 (also works as a QB). I actually think Fuller should have taken a one-digit number jersey (or 11) so he wouldn't look so skinny.
Side note: I really like the combo of Mike Mayock, Daniel Jeremiah, and Charles Davis that the NFLN has going for day 3
I never thought we would go WR because of the whole 2nd receiver 40 balls rhetoric, so I was surprised. Not 1, not 2, 2!! receivers in this draft. they're both electrifying.
