we are cursed in the 3rd round. Take him in the 4th... or maybe take him in the 3rd since all of our 3rd are destined to flop anyways??? hmm

There are probably better picks with 2.52, but I don't think anybody could be MAD about it. He clearly fills a position of need, and is the best in class (in an obviously weak year at the position).

Not at all. Henry is a great athlete, soft hands, and can get yards after catch. The current tight ends on the roster are straight trash.

do you think we have a chance at him? or would we have to trade up?

I would trade up- and grab him and complete your offense weapons:
We can draft a DL or OL in a later round, and we still have free agrency money to sign
a DE who gets waived after the draft

He's not a great athlete. He's a meh athlete. Not strong, average TE long speed, not explosive at all.

What he is is very technically sound.

i'd trade my 2nd and 3rd round picks for 8 fours. One of them is going to be a bust, the other is going to show up FAAAAAT? to camp. The money picks, future pro football focus all stars, are going to be in those later rounds and undrafted FA.

I doubt it. If Osweiler fails Smith and OBrien are done here. Might as well let the next brain trust pick their qb.

if Obrien feels like he can be good - why not pick him up:

I know we paid Osweiler 18 MIL, but doesnt hurt to have another QB.

Atleast they would be showing they are trying to find the QB at all cost

Myles Jack for sure. No, wait and see, like a Marcus Lattimore. At least Myles Jack doesnt need surgery and can go at it right now, for however long that may be.

I'm sickened at them potentially trading 3 picks to move up and take hack.

9 picks for : Nix, Strong, Hack

He's the best overall TE in this class and it's not even close. The kid can block, he can run, and he can catch. If he's not on the board, there's no reason to take a TE till the 5th or 6th round.

Chris Jones and Nick Martin would be my ideal Day 2 pairing.

Trust me, if he's on the board. WE HAVE TO TAKE HIM.

Henry is legit. They could screw up the rest of the draft. I would be happy with Fuller / Henry.

With Henry we'd have 2 TE's that were competent blockers and receivers, it would be a nice change.
