Lay odds kid won't have more then 10 catches over 20 yards at the end of the regular season.

I was wondering why posting is slow on this thread, and I see that an actual Hopkins thread is already 3 pages in. God it's good to have football back.

Bet Hopkins comes in and plays opposite AJ right away with good overall production.

He's not one of those guys that relies on speed just to get open and he has great hands with his already stellar route running ability.

I'm freaking stocked that we got the second best receiver in the draft. I honestly don't think he'all be the lone receiver taken by us this year.

I like Hopkins but what I want to know is did Rick Smith turn down a 2, 3, 4 and 7th from Minn?

Hopefully this turns a new page on the Texans' reputation of only drafting boy scouts. I want Travis Kelce

It was reported Hopkins checked out hours before his roommate, and that his flight time confirms it.

My thoughts exactly...because if he did, he's a world class fool. Hopkins wasn't even gonna be picked in the 1st round. Like the pick, but not exactly a value pick and it certainly looked like a good place to trade back.

I doubt they contacted Rick Smith, they only contacted the Pats because they have a history of trading out of the first round.

First WR selected by the texans in the 1st round since Andre Johnson in 2003.

Might have been a chance that Minnie would have drafted Hopkins instead if they traded with the texans, so Rick may have said no if they really wanted Hopkins.
