My one hope is, the ZBS allows them to take gifted guys later, falling due to size concerns.

Almost nobody the Texans picked was going to be starting, most likely.

There's still time to nab a guard who might, though.

Good pick? Bad pick? I have no idea. I have to believe the team has done it's homework and made the best selection to help improve our team. I won't do any second guessing until I see how the team performs next year. Hope to see some WR's picked soon.

the way they rotate from 3-4 to 4-3 the merciless and Brahhhman will get more than their fare share of snaps. What I see now is the texans using that extra fourth rounder to snatch fleener at the top of the second round.

I'm curious if we would have taken Hightower if the Patriots hadn't jumped up to get him.

Good player but most scouting reports I have seen say he is a better fit for a 4-3 scheme...... Can someone explain the thinking then? Or possibly refute this?

Would have loved if we took a WR though. Damn we need help so bad. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if we don't take a receiver the entire draft. The Texans just don't value the skill positions at all...

The Texans are finally good enough that we can draft BPA and not have to fill a ton of monstrous holes.

After we lost Mario we didn't have enough depth, now we can get a good rotation going and keep guys fresh.

I'd like to see them address WR in round 2 though, that seems to be the closest thing we have to a glaring weakness.

I love that Wade now does the press conferences and not Smith. Seriously Smith, you suck.

I keep seeing stuff like this, but do the Texans really need a TE THAT BAD?!? Certainly isn't as big of a need as WR.

WE HAVE A GLARING NEED AT WR! DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT RICK SMITH!! PLEASE!!!

Probably not. I expect he'll be playing the same position as Connor Barwin. He'll still see a lot of snaps though. It's not like he'll be on the bench most of the game. Depending on how he does, he may start next year if we decide not to re-sign Connor.

I think we would have but I thought the steelers were going to take him before us. never anticipated the patriots trading with denver. I swear I saw the hoody smile.
