The Cougars live to see another day! Could we see a repeat of the miracle at Olsen Field?

That Jared Ray cat is CLUTCH.

2/3rds of an inning for a save...then 2 hours later a complete game win.

    Awesome!

Just got back from Reckling. Rice took care of business. Texas dug their grave by laying an egg in game one versus St. Johns. They just ran out of pitching versus Rice this evening. Outside of Kyle Russell they just had no offense.

Augie has now been bounced three straight years in regional play. That's not going to cut it, especially with the absurd talent he brings in year after year

    Rice's bullpen is insanely good

UT needs pitching, this was a semi down year with a fairly young team.

    No big deal.

In Houston this weekend for a wedding, and decided to go to the 2nd game tonight. It was a pretty good game, but the Horns did run out of pitching. Thought it was pretty funny watching old man Wayne Graham get tossed. I didn't think he really deserved it, more like the umpire anticipated a showdown.

That #40 pitcher for Rice was clutch, and kept getting out of tough situations that his infield put him in in the 7th - 9th innings. The park was pretty nice too, with the med center backdrop. Personally, I think Garrido has done a great job turning the season around after finishing like 5th place in the Big XII regular season. This team plays hard, but Rice had some pretty good talent. Their #7 hitter was batting like .360!

Graham didn't get tossed. Patrick Hallmark did.

    Bye Horns. Rice wins.

Yeah, because Texas A&M shows the gravitas and refinement befitting a major research institution. You know, during yell practice, and lets pretend to be soldiers practice and all the other revered adult traditions, that separate it from a lowly commuter campus like UH. Poor Cougar High where most of the students are there for the cheap and mundane purpose of getting an education.

    Hullabaloo Quebec, Quebec...or whatever

Just responding to the ancient Cougar High chestnut, which was already old during the Nixon administration.

However, congrats Aggies on throughly outplaying us tonight.
