I don't know her or what happened (none of us do), but because of the big push to find her, there's going to have to be an explanation as to why she was under an overpass and hadn't contacted anyone. I hope she's OK.
Glad she's okay. Situation does seem very odd. I know I'll probably get some backlash over this, but I don't think there would be as much attention towards this missing person case if she wasn't an attractive white woman.
id say her profession is actually what garnered the attention and who she knew. Appearance isn't anything that stands out to me. Looks just like a countless ton of other decent females out there im not buying the whole confused PR statement. but the important thing is she is ok.
Disagree. I believe what @YOLO said. Every post I saw about her was by someone in the media business that knew her or interacted with her. She got attention in the media because the media knew her.

Think it had everything to do with her being in the media and the fact that her counterparts all tweeted it and each of those people has tons of followers...because they are the media...
A friend of mine that was in Med School had a similar incident where he thought he was being followed, and ended up going missing for about 2 weeks. When they found him, he was disheveled and looked like he hadn't eaten or bathed in days. Turns out it was the precursor to him being diagnosed with schizophrenia. I hope this isn't something similar to that, because that's a heartbreaking illness.
I guess that explains a bit. But it still feels like a bigger spotlight for a college football team reporter to get national headline attention after being missing for a few hours.
