Without a block-buster trade (or trades), I am settling in for comical, pathetic, and utterly meaningless 0-16 season. The Texans are in complete meltdown mode, the excuses and post-comments are becoming hilarious, like, "We really need to look at some things," We need to find ways to get better," "We just need to solve some problems," etc.. etc. Like I said before the season started, watching Carr run for his life is not entertaining. Hopelessness is written all over the players faces. Repeat after me, Offensive Line, Offensive Line, Offensive Line...........remember, the unaddressed problem from LAST YEAR.My image of Texan's management, which WAS very positive, has taken a dive, especially after last off season.
That's impossible!! Because even if the offensive line doesn't give up a sack you've got to account for Carr running into at least one or two and possibly running out of bounds for another.
The defense is great! They already have 4 sacks (in 4 games) this year! Against the Titans, they (almost) forced a turnover (the first one of the year.) True, we are ranked last in the league in defense, but we're also ranked last in the league in offense, so they kind of cancel each other out. GO TEXANS
the defense ought to thank the offense every day...without them, everyone else would notice just how bad they are.
yikes! well, at least i'll get to see some longhorn sacks (d.d. lewis, marcus tubbs.) chickenhawks-34 Tejanos-13
Whats up with shuffling the O-Line? I guess they need to make it appear they are doing something. Am I the only one worried about having a new Center after working with McKinney for so long? After all the problems we still have with play clock management? The Texans will probably run the ball to run the clock and not be embarassed by a blowout on national TV. Im wondering if this will be worse than Green Bay vs. New Orleans. I think I heard Seattle is the No.1 Offense? Im just waiting for Jim Rome to start rooting for us to go 0-16 like he did the Dolphins last year. Who ever made the changes to the defense, as well as the draft pick of TJ has their job at stake here. And I know it wasnt the Goat Palmer offensive coordinator. BTW, whats up with making the Offensive Line Coach, In my opinion their main problem, the teams Offensive Coordinator??? Does that make any sense what so ever???
Maybe after next week's game with the Colts, the Texans can have a free concert where Dandy Don Meredith can sing his greatest hit: "Turn Out The Lights, The Party's Over"...
I keep having a vision of Capers and Pendry running onto the field kinda sideways hugging each other after they pull off the upset on national TV. Either that or I just had a flashback to Necessary Roughness... mmmm, Kathy Ireland Texans 20 Seahawks 17
NO! NO! NO! Carr is taking most of the credit for the team's constant struggle, but it ain't right... Seahawks will win this one but it won't be no massacre
