I love Tom Segura, and I know they are both comedians being funny, but riffing on Garth Brooks is a little funny. They basically have no idea about him. I'm not a giant Garth Brooks fan by any means, but I'd rate his concerts as some of the best live performances ever. They are great, whether you like his music or not. Also, when I worked in Tulsa often, all the locals really loved him. He was basically the most unassuming superstar ever and you'd see him and his family around town all the time being completely normal other than the fact that he's almost a billionaire and the #1 music act in the world. Like...it was really common to walk into the grocery store and he'd be in line like everyone else getting is regular groceries. The general consensus around town is that he was the sweetest guy. The locals were actually pretty protective of him.
At this point you can go to an NBA game or an NFL game in the middle of the biggest wave of COVID we've seen yet. Doesn't really make sense to cancel an event that is almost completely outside anyways. Maybe open the roof?
COVID is the new lung cancer. People know it could kill them but are still like '****it, somthin's gonna kill me huh huh huh huh'
What about the bodies in the basement? JK But something about a guy with that much money just showing up at the grocery store regularly seems a bit of a put on, but that's just me, I would like to think I would never go to Hollywood if I got really rich, but I am not shopping for groceries on the regular, I hate that **** now, and I am nowhere near rich. I think he is not a bad guy but he also seems like a try hard and wants a certain image. JJ Watt like.
