I wonder if there's ever a thread that exists in the human universe where there aren't patronizing comments that like to antagonize the OP.

call it a knee-jerk...but that would mean that my opinion on this team is mostly false. And i promise you, post #1 of this thread is as close of an opinion to accurate on this team as you'll ever see.

so? rockets lose = good as long as the assets put up stats. I don't care if Kevin Martin scores 0 points but I want Battier to score 30 points a night so he can be traded.

I've been so disappointed in this season's Houston Rockets that every game I watch in despair. Its time for a trade.

I think Bill Worrell got it right when he said that in the 4th quarter when teams crank up the pressure, the Rockets routinely let the Hornets shoot lay-ups while we have to make the tough shots. Hornets are #2 in defense in the NBA.

KMart got stripped of the ball once and missed at least two 3-pointers. Scola missed two shots in the lane. Kyle had to create his own shots. Teams force us to make tough shots in the 4th and without any offensive rebounding, we can't protect any lead.

Our shooting in the BOS game was a fluke. We have to play perfect and as our wins vs. LAL, OKC, BOS show, our opponents need to have a bad game.

Possibly tanking on purpose for high draft pick + waiting for healthy Yao next season?

You still believe in the Easter Bunny? Only way we get Yao back is with robot legs and Morey and his team of nerds won't be done with the time machine until 2020. Trust me we are tanking, just not by choice.

It's the way the game is called that makes this group of Rockets suffer. When I say that, I mean the ridiculously and fining for plays perceived as aggressive. When Brooks made that play for all ball but accidentally hit Wade on the nose but was called for a flagrant 1, pretty much sums up to what a ****ed up game it is today. Why do you think Scola can defend relatively better in Euro or FIBA ? I hope the Commissioner steps down after the CBA and the rules degress back to where they were and even allow handchecking..
