    Hey, I understand the need to maybe filter out so many meaningless threads, but don't throw posters like me under the bus.

    I lurked here for years before creating an account and do not post that often. However, rest assured, if I were to create a thread it would be absolutely the most amazing, must-read, all time, and hall of fame worthy thread ever. Your rule suggestion would deprive everyone of seeing it.

    I think a better approach would be granting a few long time members who are on the site all day mod powers, then requiring mod approval for new threads for, at the very least, new users.
