Simple: The drop off from Lin to AB is not as much compared to the drop off from Parsons to Garcia more so in the Rockets system with Harden as the primary ball handler so AB can play off ball as spot up shooter for the most.

We must be fine without Harden too.

Fact is if any two of Harden, Lin and Parsons were to go out we'd be in trouble no matter which two it is. I'm sure if Lin and Parsons were switched where Parsons was out first then Lin went down the situations would be the same.

    Current active threads about Lin:

Houston Rockets: No Jeremy Lin, No Problem; No Chandler Parsons, No Chance for Fragile Rockets
My prediction Lin will be traded between Dec 15-19 (make yours)
Sources: Dwight isn't "thrilled" with PG situation.
Jeremy Lin out 2 weeks with grade one knee sprain (UPDATE: Will return vs. Portland)
Did the Rockets miss Jeremy Lin?

Lin's ability to draw attention is truly incredible. The guy sits out a few games and people automatically want to trade him, question his worth to the team, pit him against his teammates etc. smh

Even simpler: The drop off from Lin to Parsons and AB, isn't as big as Lin and Parsons to AB and Garcia...

You have to take everything into consideration...

Unless, you want to leave the door open to careless remarks... such as saying the drop off from Harden to Lin isn't as much compared to the drop off from Parsons to Garcia... we're 3-1 without him afterall...

It is well known about M De Moor:

'will continue to follow them through Harden and Dwight's reign of destruction' WTF is that?

Moor is one of the biggest Lin haters out there. On Bleacher Report, the guy lashed out at his readers all the time. Lin is their #1 biggest topic for the Rockets. Not Dwight, not Harden, nobody else comes close.

LOL..that is the worst garbage i have ever read in my life.

we have aaron brooks backing up jeremy lin..and have..who? garcia? backing up parsons. big difference...brooks can provide what lin provides..garcia cannto provide what parsons provides.

if we had say..jerebko as our backup sf..and NO backup pg..it would reveresed.

this guy is trying take a shot at lin ??

    This...

    ... and this

Asik also missed the PHX. The Rockets are deep enough to continue winning without 1 or 2 of their top 5 players, but 3 DNPs is really pushing it. Harden's complete disregard for defense along with multiple injuries cost us the Utah game.

How flawed is this? Shouldn't it be with out Parsons AND Lin they are 0-2 ?

If Lin had played, then yes that point would work but he didn't. So really the Rockets were down 2 players instead of down 1.
