If someone is stupid enough to screw the entire team for something like that, the cancerous seed was already here.

This hiring will eventually lead to Morey getting fired and harden leaving.

    This is the darkest timeline.

If you think rockets have a shot at the championship..you need to lower your expectations..all we can hope for is that they stay competitive..noone is beating GSW anytime soon..i just want them to be watchable..thats all i ask..

Not with these scrubs that are currently on the roster. Morey would have to have a GOOD free agency period in order for us to realistically reach 6th seed.

Dont forget battling 6 games in the first round instead of the 5, like this year.

Don't be surprised if the Rockets offense is better next season (along with their overall record), but make no mistake about it, this team will still be mediocre. Mike's offense was once game changing, but now a days it's so common. So much so it's one step above ISO Ball. Golden state only uses it when a play breaks down or communication breaks down... D'Antoni uses it as his main offensive scheme.

That's what you get when you don't allow a gm to tank or you don't wanna go after superstars in free agency...but hey, i'm 100% wrong, you know what it takes to win don't you?

In the end, Morey will probably be fine since offensively they share the same vision.

Wood Harris would look better as Roger Murtaugh than Damian Wayans does.

Their offense might get a bit better but their defense will somehow get worse.

For what it's worth, I broke down his career with and without Steve Nash in the other thread:

Sorry to double post, but I was a little surprised how stark it is, in terms of who made whom.

I like that idea of D'Antoni. I just don't know how this team with no shooters and very low basketball IQ can run his system
